Do you and your canine work up an appetite playing fetch at the dog park?
If so, here are three dog-friendly restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal together:
MUTTS CANINE CANTINA
At Mutts Canine Cantina, the motto is “Come. Sit. Stay.” The restaurant has been recognized by USA Today and the Dallas Observer, and it’s a unique destination as it’s where two-legged and four-legged friends can play and eat all in one place. Guests always enjoy friendly service, and the menu includes sandwiches such as Mutts burgers, Skinny Mutt (grilled chicken), and hot pickles & cheese. Dogs can enjoy a tasty bite-size beef frank or a refreshing pupsicle.
LEE HARVEY’S
Called “a roaring good time” by Southern Living, Lee Harvey’s is where visitors can enjoy their meal at a fireside picnic table. Over the last fifty years, the bar has earned attention from the Dallas Observer including being named “Best Dive Bar” and recognized for serving the city’s “Best Onion Rings.” The patio comes complete with twinkling lights and space for Fido to run, and the kitchen is open until at least 10:00 p.m. The chefs boast that the menu changes as often as the weather in Texas and current offerings include fish & chips, chicken tacos, and Angus beef ribeye.
CANE ROSSO
Known for serving the most authentic Neapolitan pizza in Texas, Cane Rosso has grown to five locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The dough is made in-house daily, and it’s topped with sauce, mozzarella cheese, and other quality ingredients before being baked at 900 degrees for ninety seconds. The pizza is meant to be eaten with a knife and fork, and the restaurant has been recognized for serving “Best Pizza in Dallas” by D Magazine. Owner Jay Jerrier founded the Cane Rosso Rescue which saves the lives of abandoned dogs, and guests and their canines can enjoy their time on the quaint patio. Pizzas include Johnny Utah, Farmers Only, and Billy Ray Valentine.
Valet Maids is a Dallas maid service that gives you your time back for the things you enjoy.
